This past weekend for Labor Day, we traveled with Mandy's whole family to Scottsboro, AL to the infamous (at least in our book) Unclaimed Baggage Center....have you ever wondered where all the lost luggage ends up? Well, the answer is HERE! It is unbelievable! It is like a Goodwill store on steroids...
We had fun buying clothes, Nintendo DS games, little boy-sized golf clubs for Tommy, books, and a favorite find of the boys....COSTUMES! It is an adventure to shop there because you NEVER know what you will find!

Even matching Father/Son Transformer Costumes...that was priceless! It is Tommy in picture BTW...

We stayed at a Comfort Inn...so of course the 5 big kids stayed in the pool most of the weekend...

While Miss Katie hung out with Nana....she learned to lay on an arm in a bed...mmm, I might get out of the recliner yet! (for those of you who don't know--that is how I get my sleep every night!)

Saturday late afternoon...R, T, T & I (no Katie) went to the local elementary school playground which was TOTALLY AWESOME!! Ty said as he was getting off this part...he said "I am the master of the spin thing!"

Tommy had his ball with him, so had fun shooting baskets for points....

Richard had to work Monday, so he left Sunday about lunchtime...after he left the rest of us went to Goose Pond Colony for a picnic. It is a pseudo state park with a lodge, cottages, etc on a huge lake. We enjoyed a picnic lunch and the kids got to put their feet in the edge of water...

It is definitely interesting traveling with an 8 and 10 year old plus a 5 week old... But overall we had a fun weekend! We'd highly recommend a visit to the Unclaimed Baggage Center!! :)
